About the event
Join me at the Georgia Association for Behavior Analysis Conference 2025 for a powerful conversation on legacy, leadership, and the future of ABA. This session shines a light on Savannah State University’s Behavior Analysis Program, the first of its kind at an HBCU in Georgia, and explores the historical and ongoing barriers that impact its growth and recognition.
Through personal story, cultural context, and professional insight, this talk will unpack the systematic challenges facing underrepresented programs while highlighting their role in producing the next generation of diverse leaders in the field of ABA. Attendees will leave with a renewed perspective on how supporting HBCUs, building equitable partnerships, and empowering students creates ripples of change across the profession.
This is more than an academic discussion. It’s a call to action to rewrite the narrative of who belongs in leadership and how we sustain inclusive pipelines for the future of behavior analysis.
